Glassnode offers over 1000 metrics and charts hidden under folders and subcategories. We wanted to ensure that every customer finds what they are looking for as easily and efficiently as possible without getting lost on our website. Search provides a direct path to a metric or a dashboard which the customer has in their mind. Thus, a silky smooth search experience was crucial.

To deliver a fast and efficient search experience to our users, we decided to use Algolia Search, which already had all the necessary functionality.
Filtering
To assist users in filtering search results, we introduced tabs that enable them to sort through dashboards, charts, and workbenches.
Recent searches
Recent Searches displays the user's latest searches, allowing quick navigation to the recently searched metric.
Keyboard Navigation
We also implemented keyboard shortcuts and display them at all times so that they are easily accessible for new users.
Mobile search experience
On mobile, we wanted the search bar to become the entry point. We made sure it was prominently nestled on the mobile nav.
